25 States Now Call Marijuana Medicine, But the DEA Still Doesn’t

Two days ago, John Kasich officially signed Ohio’s medical marijuana bill into law, making it the 25th state (26th if you count Washington D.C.) that allows some form of medical marijuana use. Although, Ohio’s measure is more restrictive than many other medical marijuana bills – patients cannot actually smoke marijuana, then must instead ingest it via edibles or use a vaporizer. The American voters are actually more unified over marijuana than any other policy, including: gun control, immigration and taxes. You won’t believe what percentage of Americans now support legal medical marijuana, according to a new poll. The FDA Issues Warning Letters to CBD Sellers

The Federal Food and Drug Administration issued a series of letters to several online vendors of hemp-based cannabidiol products back in February. The letters were intended to warn them of potential consequences associated with making claims of the medical efficacy of their products. The letters specifically targeted eight companies in total, advising them that claiming health benefits of their products was a violation of federal statutes defining a substance as a drug.
